Save a year (SAY) examination 2016

Regular SSLC candidates who fail to clear their Kerala Board March 2016 exams, can register for the Save a year (SAY) examination 2016 that will be conducted in May 2016. Candidates should register for SAY within 5 days of the SSLC 2016 result declaration.

The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam is conducted by the Kerala Education Board. For the academic year 2014-2015, the Kerala SSLC pass percentage was 97.99%, which is undoubtedly one of the highest pass percentages witnessed by any state education board exam. The education minister of Kerala had mentioned that around 4,68,273 Kerala students appeared for SSLC exam 2015. Of them, around 4,58,841 students passed Kerala 10th exam. As per the result abstract, around 2,30,432 boys and 2,28,409 girls passed Kerala 10th exam.

The General Education Department of Kerala has just released the dates for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examinations, 2016. The SSLC (class 10) exams will take place from 9 - 28 March, 2016. According to the SSLC (Hearing Impaired) Examination time table 2016, the tests begin from Wednesday, 9 March, 2016, with Malayalam as the first paper and continues till Wednesday, 23 March, 2016. This time table is applicable for students appearing for SSCL - Hearing Impaired Examination. The General Education Department of Kerala has also released the dates for the Technical High School Leaving Certificate (THSLC) examination 2016. According to the THSCL (Hearing Impaired) Examination date-sheet 2016, the tests begin from Wednesday, 9 March, 2016, with the English paper and ends on Monday, 21 March, 2016.
